This literally just started randomly happening.
#Sabnzbd cannot create final folder tv#
Movies remain in the movies directory and TV shows go into my "tvshows" directory. I am not sure if this is correct, and it even threw me a message about not being able to be in the same directory as completed downloads, however now I have no issue. I was able to fix my particular issue by moving the Incomplete Downloads directory from I believe /Downloads to my /media/movies directory. This week included before installing SAB, Sonarr, and Radarr.
#Sabnzbd cannot create final folder update#
I don’t remember but I update every everything at least once a week. I legit don’t know what else to try.ĮTA: LXC is whatever the newest ubuntu server version is, lol. I assume it’s permission based but changes and restarts did not help. The log show the same message as the title where the errors occur. Moved the incomplete folder to the same directory. I’ve changed the SAB gui settings to write as 777. I’ve tried changing each applications group to a media one I made with I believe 777 permission AND tried just throwing 777 for all users on the directory I want to store media. Sonarr, Radarr and JellyFin appear to work fine, however all my downloads fail. I am running SABnzbd in an LXC on Proxmox. So I’ve searched all around literally all day and tried various fixes of all ages in an attempt to resolve this. Luckily whoever got in was kind and just want to give me a kcim up the arse which it has done so any feedback on the above or advice to get secure would be appreciated!

#Sabnzbd cannot create final folder Pc#
I have plex setup on my local PC with remote access enabled and I use the Syno VPN package to access my home network remotely.Īnyway, I have a few questions as this is making me take these things a lot more seriously. Now my setup is straight forward, SAB, Radarr and Sonarr with NZBHydra in the middle all running on a Synology box. I had a look into it and my Server that was setup had its name changed to "SECURE THIS SERVER" and "ADD AUTH, REMOVE PORT FORWARDS, CHANGE API KEYS".įirst and foremost I have added auth to my Sab as I had naively thought nothing bad could happen. So my Sabnzbd instance was not downloading recently after having a few grabs stacked in the queue.
#Sabnzbd cannot create final folder series#
This is what solved the issue for me, now I have a different issue Aborted, cannot be completed and regards to TV series not fully downloading, but I believe that is either because of the usenet provider I'm with (which I really hope is not the reason.) or because of the 1 indexer I'm using (NZB.ag).Throwaway account as I am in paranoid mode. Also, a system reboot of your NAS couldn't hurt. this folder, child folders, etc) and then check Change permissions, Read and Write - For safe measure, click on the Apply to this folder, sub-folders and files option and then click OK.

Click Properties > Permissions tab - Here you need to click the Create button and select the group sc-download, make sure it applies to All (i.e. Navigate to: Control Panel > Group > sc-download > Edit button > Permissions tab and check Read/Write for video hit OK.įinally, navigate to: File Station > video and right-click on the downloads folder. The 4th row should be the group of each folder and for the downloads directory, it should now read sc-download instead of users HINT: You can check that the group has been changed by navigating to said folder.

This will change the group of said folder to the user group set by SynoCommunity for download related jobs (the user sabnzbd should be a part of that group). To do this, enter the following command:Ĭhown :sc-downloads /volume1/video/downloads

Next, you will need to change the group of the folder to sc-download. Login with the admin credentials for your NAS. Next download an application called PuTTY and when you launch it enter the the IP address of your NAS and the port number you just set in the Control Panel. There are two ways to change the permissions, the first way you can just use the GUI by going to Control Panel > Applications > Terminal & SNMP and under the Terminal tab, check the option that says Enable SSH service (it's also a good idea to change the default port to something other than 22). Surprisingly enough, after attempting many different resolutions, I finally figured out a combination of permissions and user group settings that fixed the error I was getting.
